A decorative doll which will look quirky and unique on any shelf or wall. This little lady has a ribbon sewn on her back so you can hang her on the wall or from your mirror.

Crafted by hand, apart from her legs which are machine sewn.

Many things inspire me, old cartoons and childrens books, to screen sirens, theatre, and old movies.

Inspired by the 40's/50's films of Esther Williams, old flowered swim hats and beautiful vintage swimming costumes. Infact I want this costume in my size!

I never want my work to look factory made, thats not what they're about. I love little bits of imperfection, a tiny stain on a piece of vintage fabric or a frayed edge. To read more about me and see more of my work please have a look at my work at www.curiouspip.blogspot.com
,
Materials: Vintage 1930's Fabric, cotton, polyfill, felt, ribbon, soft black merino wool.

I have handpainted her face using fabric pen and then stitched over with cotton to make her eyes deeper. Her skin tone has been dipped in tea to give her a slight vintage feel. Her hair is soft merino wool. She has a little red cotton mouth in the shape of a love heart. I have cut out and sewn each individual flower for her hat.

Height: approx 14.5 inches

Packaging: Will package well to ensure she is not damaged. Please have a brief look at my policies page for any other info or email me direct. You can also read a little bit about me in the About section on the sidebar.

This is not a toy but a decorative darling! Not suitable for children or play - due to her delicate construction.
