Unusual vintage ladle has a shallow chrome bowl with a raised strainer panel on one side. Handle is made of bakelite in a swirled mixture of shades of brown. Has a great streamlined, mid century modern, style. Circa 1960, made before kitchen utensils were manufactured with dishwasher safe plastic handles.

Piece measures 11 inches long. Bowl is 3 inches across the rim. Bakelite handle has a triangle shape, with a hole for hanging to display in your kitchen. Handle is guaranteed to be old bakelite -- tested positive with Simichrome Polish, turning the cloth amber yellow. No marks, so do not know the maker.

In very good condition. Chrome shows some tiny darkened spots, as shown in the close up photos of the ladle bowl. Clean and could be used.
