Unused black Americana dish towels featuring a man returning from market with a pig. "To Market To Market To Buy a Fat Pig". Signed by designer Anne Orr, needlecraft editor of Good Housekeeping magazine and creator of many crochet and needlework patterns. Deco styling; may date from as early as the 1920s or 30s.. Crisp unwashed tag on each reads "Martex, Dry-Me-Dry, Reg.U.S.Pat.Off., The Amazing New 3 Fibre Towel". Found folded in a box of 1950s clothing from an Ohio estate. There is a small amount of discoloration on some fold lines and yellow spotting; one towel is worse than the other. I have not washed these, as I wanted to leave them as-found. (The stripes in photo 4 are from sunshine through the slats on my porch swing.)

Will ship Priority Mail for $5.35. I'm happy to ship internationally; please convo me for cost.
