This is an important Early Haeger Pottery Vase / Matte Crystalline Geranium Glaze in shades of green. Designed and made by Haeger Pottery made during the J. Martin Stangl era (1914-1919).

This is a beautiful Arts and Crafts Era trumpet vase or flared vase with an outstanding crystalline glaze in a close mix of inviting shades of green. The mottled finish is matte tending toward satin. The appeal of the shape and the glaze never ceases to interest and amaze. A wonderful item for your Arts and Crafts / Prairie Style / Mission period collection or to simply enjoy for all of its cool elegance.

The vase is an impressive size for disply on its own or with flowers.

Pottery designer J. Martin Stangl left Fulper Pottery and joined the Haeger Pottery company in 1914 to help Edmund Haeger develop a new line of art pottery ware. It is certainly Fulper Pottery in glaze, shape and influence, as were most of the Martin Stangl designed Haeger Pottery pieces from 1914-1919, created between the two long eras when Stangl worked for Fulper (later Stangl) Pottery

Mint condition. Nice even mottled green glaze with no crazing.

This glaze has mystified many pottery collectors; however, we have seen shapes we know to be Very Early Haeger Pottery bearing this exact glaze, from Haeger Pottery during its Arts and Crafts Era years.

6 1/2 inches tall by 4 1/4 inches in diameter. The bottom is not marked.

Frequently asked questions about delovelyness

Vintage Watches take special care. They must be hand-wound everyday. They should be treated gently, kept away from water, and serviced by a professional watchmaker every 3-5 years. They should not be expected to be as large as or keep time as accurately as modern battery watches. I do have some vintage battery watches in the collection if you prefer that ease of ownership. Please take time to read all the information in the listing before you buy. A detailed set of instructions will be sent with your manual wind vintage watch.
When you select a delovelyness collection item to be sent as a gift, the packaging will not divulge the price you have paid. It will include a small tasteful business card that states it came from the delovelyness collection.
