Description

Here, for you, is a pattern which may describe you or someone you know. The border includes tools of many crafting trades, and you can really play with the colors, especially by using variegated thread.

Love this pattern but want a version without swearing? I also have a listing with the text Crafty Mama or Momma.

This pattern will be e-mailed to you as a .jpg file. When stitched on 14 count Aida it measures 8 1/8 inches wide and 5 1/4 inches high.

Nervous about all the back stitching/blackwork? Here's one customer's experience with it:

"I went to Meredith with a half-baked idea that I wanted a cross stitch pattern for Little House on the Prairie, and in no time at all, she had whipped up a beautiful pattern. I started stitching it immediately, and it was such fun! The piece progressed quickly and easily. As soon as it was complete, I sent the finished picture to Meredith. I was in utter shock when she referred to it as blackwork! I had completed my first blackwork piece and didn't even know it. I had always admired blackwork but was too intimidated to try it on my own. I had done a fair amount of cross stitch as a kid, but hadn't touched it since I was 16. At 33, I picked it back up again, and it was only about a month later that I stitched Little House. Seriously, if I can do it, anyone can."

Payments

Secure options
  • Accepts Etsy Gift Cards and Etsy Credits
Etsy keeps your payment information secure. Etsy shops never receive your credit card information.

Returns & exchanges

I do not offer refunds. It is up to the buyer to read listings carefully and ask questions before they buy.

If a listing title includes the word "pattern" it is just that, a pattern, not a finished piece.

Additional policies

Do not sell finished pieces made with my patterns barring for charity purposes. In those instances the full price from the finished piece must go to the charity, not a percentage.

My patterns do not use symbols (in general), but solid color blocks on graph paper. For me this is both the easiest way to create a pattern and the easiest to read when stitching.

I am not currently able to convert my patterns to symbols only, though I am working on that with a few of the more complex ones.

If a pattern is difficult to read on your monitor or after printing (ie: if the colors run together), please contact me and I'll work to fix it for you.
