Two antique Ridgeway plates with blue details.

These are salad plate size, about 7" in diameter. There are two identical plates included in this lot. If you only want one plate, write to me and I will split this into two lots.

The bottom reads "Engraved for WRidgway Co 1832." In the middle of the double square it says, "Semi China." Outside the square is a mark that looks like an ornate shaving brush next to a bow from a bow and arrow. I realize that is not the most helpful of descriptions, but if you have read this far, you probably know all about it.

The art on the top of the plates (the side you put food on) is identical on both.

Condition is excellent. I believe the correct name for these is Blue Willow Semi China Staffordshire.

This is a very collectible item, and also comes in handy when you are a bit peckish but don't want a full sized serving of french fries.

I do not currently have similar matching items. I'd love for these to find a good home.
