**RESERVED FOR CYNTHIA***
Black mourning dress c. 1910. Features black lace collar, bodice modesty panel with floral soutache embroidery, pleated skirt, 3/4 sleeves. Bodice is lined in unbleached muslin. Snap and hook and eye closures. Fabric feels like a heavy cotton linen.

Measurements:
-Bust: 38"
-Waist: 28"
-Hip: open
-Length: 46.5"
-Shoulder to shoulder across back: 14.5"

Condition:
The truly shocking thing about this dress is its incredible pristine condition. EXTREMELY rare for a garment of this age and type. There are two tiny 1/16" holes and one 1/8" hole on one of the pleats on the back of the skirt. One 1/8" hole on back of bodice. A few TEENY breaks in the lace collar. Some discoloration on the inner muslin lining (not visible when worn of course). It seems that the row of buttons on the left side of bodice are slightly higher than the row on the right, but this can be easily changed if you like. I have left as is. Otherwise MINT condition. Fabric is strong. This dress is suitable for day to day wear! I am amazed and utterly baffled by the condition of this authentic, 100+ year old garment. INCREDIBLE.
