This is a beautiful and sadly roughly-treated set of French ladies magazines.

Le Petit Echo de la Mode (The small echo of Fashion) from September and May 1937 are both beautifully illustrated editions with fashion plates, sewing and knitting patterns, advertisements, articles and more.

These issues feature several pages of beautifully illustrated hat and dress fashions, a stunning color centerfold, patterns, several beautiful knitting and crochet patterns, embroidery motifs, home decor articles and frame-able advertisements for beauty products.

They have been treated very badly by the years and would be well rewarded with a cozy picture frame. There are some chipped and torn page edges. Otherwise, the magazines are great reading and the art in them would be great used for graphics, art and maybe even scrap-booking.

Each magazine is very large and measures 11 1/2" wide and 14 1/4" tall.
