A yellow-green Swarovski crystal cross completes this Anglican rosary made of white agate, serpentine, and African bloodstone. It is hand-knotted with white silk thread. The cross measures 20x20mm.

Swarovski is the brand name for a range of precisely-cut crystal (a particular type of glass) produced by Swarovski AG of Wattens, Austria. Serpentine is the stone of energy. Agates are said to assure marital fidelity. Bloodstone is the symbol of justice.

Anglican prayer beads are composed of a cross and thirty-three beads, five large and twenty-eight small. The thirty-three beads remind us of the number of years of Jesus' life on earth. The four large beads form an invisible cross. The small beads represent the seven days of the week and also recall the seven days of creation. The invitatory bead, the large bead above the cross, invites us into the circle of prayer. "Praying the Beads" by Nan Lewis Doerr and Virginia Stem Owens is a good introduction on how to use the Anglican rosary.

The price includes free shipping to the U.S., U.K., or Canada, and a matching organza storage pouch.
