This is an original antique map showing Germany in 1934. This map is from a Phillips Record Atlas Centenary Edition published in 1934. The atlas belonged to ‘Captain Yeats’ (according to the stamp on the front page of the atlas)

The full map is shown in the last photo. Other photos show details from the map.

There are other maps on the reverse (one of Denmark and the other showing part of Poland and the Eastern Baltic States). These do not show through.

The map was printed over the fold in the book so there are some small holes (and a white line) in the centre of the map where it was sewn into the atlas. The map is in good condition with a lovely aged patina which makes it all the more charming! Someone has circled the Danube in blue ink (as you can see on one of the photos but this does not spoil the map).

Size: approximately 13.5 in x 10 in (34.5cm x 25.25 cm)

This map would look great framed and would be fantastic for a history buff!

We are always happy to combine shipping.
