Be it a very special way of saying thanks to a nurse or physician for taking good care of you or a loved one, or as a means of accessorizing your very own stethoscope, I believe you will be delighted by the one I will create just for your needs.

This stethoscope charm chain is made out of Freshwater Pearls (appr. 8 mm) on both creamy white and deep blue. In the center of the ”pearl ensemble” of each side are large white glass pearls, accentuated by dark-blue flower bead caps, made out of pressed glass (a unique Czech technique). Along with sparkling clear crystals, Czech as well, they make for a truly lovely stethoscope charm.

For more options, please see my other stescope charms in that specific section of my shop. I'm periodically listing new creations).

Your Stethoscope charm will arrive in a pretty organza bag, with an inspiring message quote tag attached.

The story behind the product:
While I can't claim I invented it, I / we have been around nurses (a good 200 by now) and doctors (dozens) long enough to know that they would be delighted by this ingenius little accessory.

Our youngest daughter Faith was born October 1, 2010 at St. Lukes Hospital in Houston with a 10 -20% chance of surviving birth. She had hydrops, a condition where fluid accumulates in 3 or more areas of the body. In her case it affected her lungs, the area around her heart, her skin, as well as her scalp. In a very complicated procedure (Thorosynthesis), the fluid present in her lungs, was suctioned out with long "tube needles" during the C-Section delivery, allowing her lungs to be inflated artificially. In addition, she was born with congenital heart disease and a thrombosed liver.
We owe her survival at birth to the supreme skill and expertise of healthcare professionals at Texas Children's Hospital (TCH) in Houston, where she remained 7 weeks after birth, her surviving the first critical week after birth (another 80-90% mortality rate), and thereafter.

Every day for those 7 weeks, either her dad or I, drove the hour to TCH's NICU to pray over her, sing to her, or just hold her hands, watching her making prgress, regressing again, but eventually coming off oxygen and other life-supporting tubes. We met some incredibly dedicated nurses and doctors that way, some of which we are still in touch with. That helped us tremendosly dealing with all the challenges that God put in our path, such as our little Faith failing to thrive once back home, as was discovered at that point, a result of malrotated intestines. Back to TCH she went for, as it turned out, 2 surgeries and 9 seemingly endless weeks at the hospital due to a very tough recovery.
Again, we were blessed with a wonderful doctor and nursing staff, to which in no little measure we attribute Faith's healing and her ultimately coming back home again.
Life hasn't been easy since,as Faith was also diagnosed with Noonan's Syndrom (NS), and is still being fed through a stomach tube. However, we consider ourselves blessed to have tremendous support through various therapists, numerous specialists that Faith keeps seeing, and last but not least that of family members and friends!

Thank you so much for your support! It not only helps cover some of the medical expenses we incur with our little Miss Faith, but also enables me to have a wonderful creative outlet...

Blessings for 2013!

"Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."
