This is a vintage 1970's era African American Adventurer Doll made by Hasbro. The Vietnam war was becoming increasingly unpopular so Hasbro developed a series of dolls that were explorers and adventurers rather than the hard core Military GI Joes of the sixties.

He is made of hard plastic with life like black flocked hair, brown eyes and a pink scar on his cheek. His body is jointed at the elbows, wrists, knees and ankles with ball joints at the hips, neck and shoulders allowing him to assume a multitude of poses.

Included in the lot;
Tan Shirt and Pants. The shirt has the sixth issue Hong Kong tag made between 1966-1976.
Army Green Plastic Fatigue Cap marked "GO Joe Tm Hasbro Made in the USA" made between 1966-1974.
Black High Cut Combat Boots
Black Plastic Shoulder Holster
Grey Plastic Pistol
American Flag

He has raised markings on his buttocks that reads "GI Joe Copyright 1964 by Hasbro Pat.No. 3,277,602 made in U.S.A"
Condition: There are two splits at the top of his legs and one split on his shoulder. Use the zoom feature for closer inspection.
