This handmade zipper pouch is a collaboration with Japanese stamp artist, Fumiwo ( http://www.etsy.com/shop/fumiwo ). Fumiwo stamped a Japanese "okappiki" (watchman not officially hired by the police but cooperated with surveillance during the Edo period) with the word "goyou", meaning "You are under arrest".
I embroidered red stars around the "okappiki" and on the back (3rd photo).
A red wooden bead is attached to the zipper pull with a red leather cord. The lining is white with red and dark pink stripes.
A perfect gift for the Japanophile.

Approximately 7.25" wide x 4.25" tall (18.5cm x 11cm)

Outer material: 100% cotton
Lining: 100% cotton
Polyester fleece is sewn in between the outer fabric and lining.
