Gazelles can be seen all over Israel, from the green and luscious mountains of the north to the barren and arid deserts of the south. It is always exciting to encounter them, but it is most thrilling to see these slender and elegant creatures right in the middle of the city. In the heart of Jerusalem, surrounded by busy roads, there is a place called The Gazelle Valley where wild gazelles run free, and sometimes, when they venture to the edge of the valley to graze by the fence, the city dwellers might catch a glimpse of them from their passing cars.

The vase features a male and a female gazelle which were each sculpted by hand. It was thrown on the wheel and altered into an oval. The matte turquoise is deep and thick, and holds within it many nuances and play of color that seem like currents underneath the water surface. It has a touch of cobalt blue around the rim.
The colors and shine of the glaze may vary slightly from the photos.

This pot has been fired to a high temperature, and is especially strong and robust. It is safe for food, and suitable for use in the oven, microwave and dishwasher.

Measurements:
Height – 17.5 cm (6.9 in); width (nose to nose) – 26 cm (10.2 in).

We like our pieces and would like for them to reach you in one piece. We, therefore, take extra care to wrap them meticulously in a thick layer of bubble wrap and soft tissue paper where needed, and then place them inside a hard cardboard box.

May you draw great pleasure from this pot!
