**Formerly called Posh Sock, but after lots and lots of swatches and projects we have recategorized it as a sport weight. It's still great for socks, especially if you want to knit them faster, but also great for gorgeous scarves, hats and sweaters. Our yarn formerly known as Posh Lace is actually a light fingering weight, so we've changed that to Posh Sock. Now getting gauge should be so much easier!

McMullin Fiber Co. Posh Sport

*80% Superwash Wool, 10% Cashmere, 10% Nylon
*Sport Weight
*375 yards, 115 grams
*Machine Wash Cold / Dry Flat
*Gauge: 5.5-6.5 sts/inch on US 3-5 needles

Rich beet red with hints of sapphire, violet and purple. Socks shown are Cookie A's Kai-Mei.

This base yarn is super luxurious. The cashmere makes it extra squishy and soft, and the nylon gives it extra strength. Plus it's superwash so it's easy to care for, so you know your special project won't get ruined. The perfect yarn for extra special gifts. It is such a pleasure to knit up!

Make sure you check your pattern's yardage requirements first, but one skein should be enough for a pair of adult socks. This listing is for one skein.

We use colorfast acid dyes and rinse all our yarns with a conditioning agent and pure lavender essential oil to give it a smooth hand, a soothing smell and to help protect it from fiber-eaters.
