These awesome creations are lovely nicknamed the “Royal Chairs” by my youngest child. The tall back for the king and the short back for the queen. But in reality these beauties are more know as a form of folk art or as soda/beer/food can art.

With out knowing the artist or the year, I’m going on memories to date them. When I was a kid I remember going to the fire hall to the craft show and these beautiful pieces of art would be available for purchase. I remember seeing them and I would wonder how one could so intricately form the spirals and curves out of a piece of metal.

I was so stunned after 30 some years to come across a box of these beautiful chairs. I kept a few for my children. As for the others, I am selling them so you too could enjoy this creative art form.

As with any cans they tend to rust and these are no exception. If this bothers you, I have seen where the artist would create a velvet pin cushion and glue onto the chairs and the tables. It depends on the eye of the beholder.

Size King chair about 6 inches tall and about 3.5 inches across. The queens chair is about 5 inches tall and under 4 inches across.
