This old electric toaster is great vintage condition.

It is called "Universal" and is made by a co. named Landers, Frary and Clark of New Britain,Conn. USA.

There are a number of patent dates on the bottom ranging from Feb. 6,1906 to Nov. 16, 1920.

This Toaster has two slots, you put a slice of bread into each and when they are toasted on one side you "flip" them to toast the other side. This is done by moving each slot as seen in photos 3 and 4.
Each of the slots move freely and easily.

The toaster has a nice aged patina to it. I have not made any attempt to clean it. It's in as found condition.

It is in working condition and gets very hot, very quickly. However it does not come with the cord. I used a cord I own to try it. You could easily get a two prong cord but I recommend you use it only as vintage decoration or to add to your collection. This is totally up to the buyer.

It would look great in a vintage kitchen decor.
