These soft and beautiful vintage gloves are off-white washable doeskin leather, made in England for H. A. & E. Smith, Bermuda (one of the great old clothing stores there). The gloves are size 7 and come down a few inches below the wrist, with a scalloped edge. They have three pleats on the front and are soft and flexible. They are in very good condition. The leather is very soft and with little sign of wear. There are a few very light marks, including a water mark on one of the fingertips, and a light crease where these were folded in a drawer (probably since the 1930s or 1940s), but they were lightly worn, if ever.
One glove is marked Washable Doeskin, Made in Englad for H.A.&E. Smith, Bermuda. The other glove has a crest with a lion and says Est. 1845, Cross, trademark, England.
Size: 7 (18 cm), or Medium. The gloves are 11 inches long; the middle finger is 3 3/4 inches long.
