This lovely set of six (6) Platinum trimmed butter plates are of the Noritake pattern number 1358. They were issued in the year 1955 and have pewter grey leaves with some leaves outlined in just black lines. They are part of the Eames Era 1950's modern design and look Danish in their shape.

The plates measure 5 inches long and 3 inches wide and are in very good condition. I see no chips, cracks or crazing on these lovelies. There does not appear to be loss of any platinum edging.

Although they were probably made in the 50's for nuts, butter dishes or salt, they would make perfect Dip plates for your oils. Also nice Sushi Plates, bone plates and condiments like shrimp sauce.

The set of dishes that these go with can be seen on Replacements Ltd. where these plates have a selling price of $8.99 each. The pattern in the set has the 1950's turquoise in it and is very modern.

These are beauties and can be used with many other patterns of china.
