A piece of New England political history for your collection!

B & W antique pin measures approx. just over 3/4" in diameter.

Apparently, Percival W. Clement won the position he was vying for with this advertising pin - 57th Governor of the state of Vermont (VT), which he held from 1919 to 1921. (Although who's to say he didn't use this pin if he ran for the position prior or afterward?)

Inside reads: The Whitehead & Hoag Co. Newark, NJ, Union Label Trades Council, 3. Patented July 17 1894. April 14 1886 (?) - July 21, 1898 (?)
^Not quite sure those last two years... very fine text.

The ViewMaster slide will be another listing in my shop and not including with the purchase of this pin, sorry.
