Simplicity, grace, delicacy - the qualities of this small dish are evident in the artistry of an anonymous china painter. From the period before WWI, when Art Nouveau and fin-de-siecle styles reigned. The mark is a bit hard to decipher but clearly says "Favorite" and "Bavaria". 6 1/2" in diameter. If you collect handpainted china, anything with butterflies, or Bavarian/German porcelain, this plate belongs in your collection. No chips or cracks, minimal to no signs of wear.
