a vintage metal photo slide case by Kenco, circa 1960s or so
in that ever-popular mid-century color of harvest gold

the slide slots are individually numbered up to 150, and each slot can hold 2 cardboard-cased slides or 1 metal slide. The case measures 14 3/8" x 7.5" x 2". It's in good condition overall with some minor scratches and a couple tiny dings on the bottom.

Included with the case are 162 slides of varying subjects...some are shown in the last picture (as viewed with this handy little handsome machine...

Some of the slides are personal photos taken of a parade in the early 60s. Others are souvenir-type slides of the White House, United States Naval academy, The Paul Revere House, the Mark Twain home, Silver Springs Florida, paintings from the National Gallery of Art, and slides from Blowing Rock, North Carolina, Annapolis, Maryland, and Boston, Massachusetts. Also inside is a little catalog put out by Photo Lab Inc showing all the various sets of slides that could be ordered. Based on the two digit postal zone for their address, this is from the 1950s to early 60s.

Because of the weight, this will be sent via Parcel Post if you live on the West Coast; elsewhere in the U.S. it will come via Priority and depending on where you live, you may receive a partial refund on the shipping cost. Please convo me with your zip code if you'd like an exact quote -- thanks!
