This is the Past Patterns Garibaldi Shirt sewing pattern. This style of shirt or blouse was popular during the Civil War era. It was often made in red fabric, and was named after Giuseppe Garibaldi, who led 1,000 volunteer “Red Shirts” in the successful conquest of Sicily and Naples in 1860.

It is marked for sizes 10-20. The bust measurements are 33” to 41”.

This is an uncut pattern. In fact, it’s still in the original factory folds. I haven’t unfolded it at all.

The copyright is for 1986. I’m not certain old it is, but I’ve had it for ages. It would be perfect for any Civil War event.

I need to destash from 30 years of collecting. I’ve got boxes on top of boxes, and can’t get to things. Thank you for helping find my sewing room again!

This trim has been in a box for the 7 years I’ve owned it, and I got it from someone else’s destashed horde – I *think* she said she bought it in the 1960s. It smells a little dusty, and there’s a bit of dust, lint, and/or cat hair. (My cat has such fine fur I find stray hairs in places he could *never* get to!) But there are no smoky odors, and no smokers in my home.

Shipping is by US Mail -- If I can ship multiple-item orders cheaper than my posted rates, I'll refund any excess postage over $1.00. Overseas buyers are responsible for any customs fees. My apologies, but because I use PayPal's shipping tool, I can only ship to the address on record.

Thank you for looking at my stash! :-)
