I rearranged my house last week and moved the sewing machine to a more convenient location so that I could get back to sewing again. This wall quilt is made from the scraps of a quilt I have on my bedroom wall. The colors are very warm and bright. Reds, pinks, oranges, purples, and yellows. The fabrics are all 100% cotton, as is the batting. I have done the quilting using cotton thread in the bobbin and a varigated rayon in reds on top. The rayon thread adds a bit of shine and color. I have washed the quilt to shrink the batting and get that wonderful puckered look. This piece measures approx. 16" x 23".
