Old shells painted in red & white or off-white paint with sayings in Dutch. One shell painted “Elke morgen, nieuwe zorgen” (Every morning, new worries) & the other is "Het leven is een strijd" (Life is a struggle). I don't speak dutch so I'm not 100% certain of the translations, those are as near as I can figure using an internet translation. Shells are approx 3" wide & 3 1/8" tall, have ribbon strung through holes at top for hanging. They have a great patina & would look wonderful in a cottage decor!
