Who Likes It Hot? is a 1972 hardcover book written by May Garelick and illustrated by Brinton Turkle. It's not just a story of hot summertime, but also is intended to teach kids about the creatures that do well in hot climes and those who do not.

Published by Four Winds Press, a division of Scholastic Books, the book is unpaginated, but is around 30 pages long. The book is 9 x 8 inches. The pages are dominated by Turkle's large illustrations that are in shades of black and white, gray, blues and oranges. Turkle was an advertising illustrator prior to illustrating children's books, something he moved into who after he had children of his own.

This book was reprinted in the late 1990's, but to find the 1972 hardcover edition is unusual, especially in a privately-owned, non-library format, so this is a very fun treat!

The exterior of this hardcover book is in very good condition, with just a bit of rubbing on the top and bottom of the spine and bending at the tips. There is virtually no rubbing or soiling on the cover. The interior has a gift inscription, but no other marks, rips or tears. The interior is in excellent condition.
