Vintage flow blue plate Gironde pattern W.H. grindley gold daubs. Stunning cobalt blue flowers on a creamy white background make this an amazingly striking plate. The flowers are groups in bunches of blue roses and foliage.

Alternating corner points have gold daubs on them. Embossed scrollwork also found on the alternating edge points.

8 inches in diameter

W.H. Grindley and Company was founded by William Harry Grindley in 1880 the Newfield Pottery, Tunstall, Stoke on Trent, England.

Pottery Printed Mark on the Reverse – A globe and steamer ship dating the plate to circa 1891-1914.

Good condition. No chips, cracks or problems. Gorgeous blue. Slight crazing.
