This is an absolutely beautiful wedding hair comb I created from a SCHREINER brooch that was broken, missing stones and I saved it! Very collectible jewelry, but not as was. Excellent for a bride with a yellow color theme, or for any special occasion that needs just the perfect splash of glamor.

If you would like to see how this piece sparkles, copy and paste my Instgram link for a 15 second video demonstration; it's truly beautiful.:

Measures approx. 3.25 inches wide by 2 inches on the focal presentation. The overall length tip to teeth ends is 4 inches. gold-tone setting and metals, gold-plated hairpin/comb.

This piece is big, and it needs a solidly fixed up-do for support. It is best suited for thick or curly hair that holds a style well. It is a bit heavy and should be worn at the top or top side of an up-do hairstyle.

This piece is NOT suitable for fine hair that easily slips out of a style.

Please note the replaced yellow rhinestone navettes at the bottom of the piece; they are not a perfect match to the other glass stone navettes. I searched everywhere for replacement stones and I can say with some certainty that there are none in existence, on the entire planet. I mean NONE. The replacements I found and used are a fine match and compliment the piece very well. This piece also had no pin-back, 4 missing yellow cabochons and one of the prongs that held the large center was stone broken off of the back. All efforts were made to repair.

SCHREINER Jewelry is highly collectible and very unique. One of the most interesting facts I discovered about their pieces, is that some stones were placed in the settings backwards, points up. I'd never seen this before and so when I received it I immediately turned the large stone around. Then I spotted the SCHREINER name back of the piece, and after some research discovered that turning the stones backwards was an intentional design signature and so, I turned it right back around, as it was. The small amber chatons are also placed with the points UP.

1950's - 1960's era.
