This listing is for 110g of the Icelandic wool combed top/roving shown in the picture. This fiber was dyed in a 1lb batch, which is 4 braids, and I list everything I have, so the listed quantities are accurate. Fiber can be spun into yarn for an extra fee.

I use professional grade acid dye and take care to provide colourfastness, and I rinse with only water so there's no scent.

Icelandic wool has a long staple and little crimp. It has a hollow-airy quality and lends itself wonderfully to low-twist singles that trap air and keep the wearer warm even when wet. This fiber is one of the finer, softer Icelandics I've come across.

This base fibre is a humbug blend, which means that black, white, and grey wool was blended together in stripes. When dyed, this creates a wonderful variation.
