Spun with lots of love especially for you in Eugene, Oregon!

This listing is for a bundled pair of TWO complementary skeins. Both are made from decadently soft, gorgeous Navajo Churro wool in a natural chocolate brown shade. I hand spun this yummy wool along with a laceweight tea green silk and stainless steel yarn loaded with green glass beads and a few shiny glass leaves. I then finished these skeins very gently in Eucalan wool wash with a touch of lemongrass and lavender essential oils to boost the peaceful, healing energies even further. (The silk and stainless steel plying yarn is very soft and does not detract from the touchable softness of this skein; it only gives the finished yarn a subtle gleam.)

I am offering these two skeins as a set because they are so very similar and would work very well together in the same project. Skein #1 was thread plied with the silk yarn and is a worsted weight, while skein #2 was spun as a single using the silk yarn as a racing stripe and is an aran weight (somewhere between worsted and bulky). Otherwise, they are identical!

I can picture these skeins being used to knit a stunning pair of arm warmers, or perhaps a unique hat. Let me know if you need some project ideas!

Navajo Churro is a conservation sheep breed known for its distinctive double coat and its cultural importance to the Navajo people of North America. Purchasing yarn made with this wool will help preserve this breed's unique character and historical importance for future generations to enjoy.

Both skeins come to you tied with hand painted silk ribbons, and were dried without weights.
