Stunning, brightly colored vintage stock/crock pot from the 1960s or 1970s.

This retro enamelware piece is adorned with a variety of vegetables (and seafood!), including artichokes, corn, broccoli, shrimp, tomatoes, mushrooms, chili peppers, onions, potatoes, asparagus, carrots, peas, fish, lobster, turnips, beets, and string beans. The lid is decorated too. Several of the images are anthropomorphic in nature, with little eyes and big smiles!

The design is remarkably reminiscent of Arabia Finland, Kaj Franck, Final Esteri Tomula, or Alexander Girard. Tastesetter / Taste Setter of Sigma also produced some similar patterns during the Eames era.

The pot is signed S. Ignacio on the underside of the handles, for San Ignacio of Spain, who was the first manufacturer of enamel on steel cookware in Spain, and one of the biggest in all of Europe.

There is a small burn on the exterior bottom and some discoloration on the interior bottom surface, however the design on the top and around the outside of the enamel are both in phenomenal vintage condition. There are no marks in visible places and nothing that can be seen from a display position, so it would make an excellent collectible addition to your mid-century or mod style kitchen.

Comes with the original steamer basket and original three-way divider for added versatility in cooking. Approximately 7.5 inches in diameter and 8 inches tall including the lid. It's very solid feeling, definitely not cheap or flimsy.

Will be shipped with the utmost care and caution.
