Out of my collection, goes well with 1975 London Transport Bus listed separately. If you enjoyed The Queens recent Diamond Jubilee or collect British Diecasts this is fine collectible..

Corgi produced numerous London Transport versions since 1968, recently releasing other reproductions of the original early versions. The smaller transport model 468 begin in 1968 evolving to this variation which then run numerous variations well into the mid 1980's. There were two Corgi Production versions for HRH - The Queens Silver Jubilee-the difference was in the decals and color. One more often seen now is a generic red or white decal with "See More London" and the other less often seen and listed is "Woolworth Welcomes The World". That essentially is the only difference.

Some select rarer promotion decal buses and the early version with figures is very collectible. I have had this one for awhile, kept secure and in display only condition. Box is bit roughed up but servicable. The vehicle is in prime original retro condition.

Britian's Corgi Toys brought creative rivalry with other Diecast Toy Companies in it's prime from the mid 1950's through the late 70's. The initial innovation in 1956 most noted was Corgi Toys introduction of the enclosed plastic windshield, advertised as "The One with Windows". This propelled and lead to direct competition for more and more creative design and construction especially with rival Dinky Toys.
