Queen of the Night Fairies
She's 16 inches tall, with a wingspan of 10.5 inches.

"Come up here, O dusty feet!
Here is fairy bread to eat.
Here in my retiring room,
Children, you may dine
On the golden smell of broom
And the shade of pine;
And when you have eaten well,
Fairy stories hear and tell."
- Robert Louis Stevenson

Big and bold, the Queen of the Night Fairies has a commanding presence in shades of black, white, and gray (with just a touch of starry blue). She is made of stuffed quilter’s muslin that has been painted and sanded, then painted and sanded again, giving the fabric a rich patina that feels like old leather. All her royal details are entirely painted (not drawn with pens or pencils) using acrylic paint and teeny tiny paintbrushes. Her wings are quilted and attached with old buttons. A wooden base is incorporated into her design, allowing her to stand securely. She comes with a matching trinket box to hold her removable crown.

Like each of our pieces, this one is entirely made by our own hands. Individually sewn, drawn, and painted, The Queen of the Night Fairies is a one-of-a-kind. It is signed and dated by us, Dylan and Jo.
