This adorable old bed is made of all wood and measures 25" long, 13" wide and 11 1/2" tall at the head board. Our model is a 22" doll that just fits. Original baby blue paint with a sweet little decal on the headboard. We would date the bed to the 1940s or 50s.

Cunningly designed so that it folds flat for storage (and shipping). The plywood board is a later addition and it holds the mattress in place and also prevents the bed from collapsing when in place. Strong and sturdy enough for use as a photographic prop for real babies.

In nice condition with no breaks, repairs or missing bits. The paint shows lots of wear, especially on the uprights where the side rails have rubbed it off.

Found with a variety of bedding from different eras;

Small piece of hand sewn quilt, bound with the white backing piece. We have washed it successfully and the material is strong although there is some fraying here and there, especially on the edges.

Ecru sheet with white and blue lace trim on all four sides. Some light staining, no holes or damage.

Two lace trimmed pillows which are newer; one covered in pink dotted swiss, the other in white cotton (like?) material, both very soft and poofy.

Blue woven blanket with lace trim. Nice condition.

We have added the white poly-stuffed mattress.
