You like the idea of a pet. But dogs are so needy. And cats get white fur all over your black clothes. And birds? Birds were made to be eaten, not kept as screechy, annoying housemates. Have you considered a bat? A no-care taxidermy bat? A no-care taxidermy bat in the most amazing ornate Victorian cage? A no care.....okay, you know the rest.

We aren't certain of the age of the cage, but the style and the estate we bought it from lead us to believe it is from the late 1800s to early 1900s. It is rustic black iron, 16" wide and 26" tall including the large bubble at the bottom. The tray has a small battery operated LED uplight (no pesky cords , and small rocks center it.

The bat is a professionally freeze-dried little (or not so little) love bug. He is 8" long with wrapped wings, sharp teeth and a boner.....a 3/8 inch boner, which is quite, shall we say, evident. Perhaps a gold lame G-string is in order.

The cage is quite substantial. The pieces will be bagged separately for safety and we will send you photos to help rebuild it. Have fun with it....dress him up, add some zombies, make him your own.

Due to the tangled confusion of laws, regulations and philosophies regarding shipping taxidermy internationally, we are not able to help our valued international customers at this time.
