While on my way hiking through the fields, I stumbled upon an abandoned 'building' (hunks of wood held together on what used to be a shed?). We always try to pick up and trash and picked up what we could find underneath and around and planned to remove the wood later on.

Underneath the pile of wood, we found kittens.
I believe they are domestic house cats as bobcats do not typically have a litter in man-made structures -- maybe they do once in a blue -- and I know there are a lot of feral cats out in the country or cats that are 'set free' there.

There was a pile of fluff (fur) and some bones in them. Digging around I found this very cool pair of scapula -- I believe there must have been multiple kittens as there were many pieces. These are a set of four vertebrae :)

It is a baby, so the bones are held by non-matured tendons and whatnot so I have decided to NOT clean them. You may choose to degrease, whitened and sanitize these bones. They do have a scent to them, but it is not 'foul' per say, just smells of jerky. It is still in the process of being 'cleaned' by Mother Nature herself, so may have minute particles.

Nonetheless, this is very cool. I have no idea on color of kittens, other than some black, grey and brown.

I hope you enjoy!
