Ottoia is one of the specimens from the famous Burgess Shale fossil site. It is a carnivorous preapulid worm that lived in a U shaped burrow extending its proboscis in search of food. Ottoia is named after Otto Creek north of the President Range near the Burgess Shale site.

This hand made plush is approximately 14.5 inches tall from the bottom of the U shape to the proboscis, 7.5 inches tall from the other side of the U to the end of the tail and is around 3 inches wide on the tube part of its body. It is made with a combination of turquoise, blue and purple fleece with some purple embroidery floss accents.

**NOTE** This plush is cute (to some people), but please use your best judgement when purchasing for a child.
