This is a beautiful set, made in England in 1952 and as you see from photo 3 is signed by the maker by hand in gold lustre glaze - J.WARD 24.7.52.. The plate also has hand written J.WARD on the base.

The company name has the By Royal Appointment Crown and is MYOTT.SON & CO.LTD.

The set is in very good condition - please see photo 4 for a close up of the beautiful green aqua inside the bowl and on the plate surface. This glaze is decorated with an intricate gold lustre pattern. The dish is decorated in tiny flowers, in, pinks, mauves, blues, and green.

The bowl measures 5 inches (12.5 cm) across the rim. The handles add an extra inch either side. It stands just over 2 inches (5cm) tall.

The plate measures just under 7 inches across (17 cm).

Please convo me for any more information.
