Vintage flow blue plate w h grindley rose pattern cobalt 1900s. Blue sprays of flowers, roses and foliage. Creamy white ground. Scalloped edges. Embossed scrollwork along the rim.

8 ¾ inches in diameter

W.H. Grindley and Company was founded by William Harry Grindley in 1880 the Newfield Pottery, Tunstall, Stoke on Trent, England.

Pottery Printed Mark on the Reverse – A globe and steamer boat dating the plate to circa 1891-1914.

Good condition. No chips, cracks or problems. Wear on the gold on the rim. Does not detract from the beauty of this plate.

Flow Blue was produced in a number of patterns. Mix and match them for a dinner set, collect them separately to hang along or in groupings. Wonderful and vibrant blue.
