Mason jars are fantastic - inexpensive, dishwasher-safe, and the glass is BPA free. They come in many shapes and sizes, and are great for portion control because the measurements are marked on the side. But have you tried carrying your lunch in one? They tip over and clink together. So the Jars to Go Bag is designed to carry 2 pint size canning jars, padded with fleece to keep them safe, and in sleeves to keep them upright. The sleeves fold out of the way if you want to carry something else, as shown in the fourth photo.

This one is made of blue ticking stripe fabric. It is lined with unbleached cotton muslin. The bag measures 9" tall, and 12" wide when laid flat. It includes a small cloth napkin useful for wrapping your silverware, of the unbleached muslin.

A word about unbleached cotton muslin used for the lining and napkin: I love it. It is soft and naturally colored. It has darker flecks, lighter and darker patches, and the occasional slub. Since one person's "character" is another person's "flaw" I just thought I would mention it. If the nature of this fabric would get on your nerves, just convo me and we will discuss fabric options that would be more pleasing to you!
