First I would like to say, if you are Esther Smith, I've found your mechanical desk calendar that was given to you in 1955. If you want it back, just convo.

This vintage brass piece was made by Park Sherman of Springfield Illinois around 1955. I know that because the date is engraved on the back of this piece. Speaking of the date, to change the date you turn the two little knobs that are on each side of the case. This is important, but you have to know this about changing the "month." When turning the knob to change the month it can be a little sticky. I get it to change by turning the knob with one hand and using my other thumb to kinda help the month change. This little problem is why I'm selling this wonderful piece at such a low price.

This nice piece measures about 1-1/2" tall x 4-1/2" in length x 2-1/2" wide.
