This is a corespun skein in which the fibres are wrapped sideways onto a yarn, revealing their true character. Corespuns have a bit of delicacy to them, but they are very pretty. This one is made from a blend of creamy Corriedale fleece and four colors of Merino fleece: duck egg, silver gray, pale pink, and fawn. (The tiny bit of green seen in one of the photos is actually a bit of yarn tied around the skein, not part of it.) I spun it all up in a curlywurly, thick and thin style with dangling Wensleydale locks in purples, pinks, and blues interspersed throughout the skein. A bit chaotic, crazy, and fun! I think this yarn would also make wonderful doll's hair too.

Many thanks to Etsy's SpinCityUK here in London for the beautifully hand-dyed Wensleydale!

A 90 gram (3 ounce) corespun skein, approximately 29 yards long, spun in a pet and smoke free environment. Yarn Weight = 6 wraps per inch on average (Bulky)
