DESCRIPTION: Great purse or tote, just right for carrying sunglasses, soft floppy hat, sunscreen, wallet, etc., to the pool or beach! Handmade in the Philippines, likely during its expanding cottage-industry era in the very late 60s to early 70s. Exterior features colorful straw flowers on a wide-weave burlap material, while the base fabric/interior lining is a more finely woven straw or synthetic straw. The handles and trim are a patent-look vinyl, and the bottom is hardboard, which gives this structure. One small, open interior pocket, turnlock clasp.

SIZE: Approx. 12 3/4" across widest point (at top) x 8 1/4" high (not counting handles) x 4" front to back at bottom; 5 1/2" handle drop.

CONDITION: Excellent. Interior is clean as can be, and the vinyl handles and trim are clean and supple--not dried out and cracking like many you find. .

SHIPPING NOTES: Purse is light, but due to size ships in a large box; not cheap! This likely cannot ship internationally at any sort of economical cost. But, if you are an international customer and would really like this bag, please contact us for shipping cost! U.S. customers, insurance is included in shipping cost.
