Beautiful, leather-covered, tree with life-like face built on a 4"x6" hard bound sketchbook. Buttery soft deerskin leather has a fine grain. Deeply wrinkled "trunk" and "branches." Two small (12 mm) blue human eyes look out from the cheerful face. Three raised bars on the spine. Decorative end papers provide a finished look inside the front and back covers. Sketchbook details: 110 sheets of unlined, acid-free paper, which accepts all dry media. 70 lb. weight paper sourced from certified sustainable forests.

The smooth feel of leather and details in tree--which extends to a few "branches" wrapping around the back cover, make this one-of-a-kind journal stand out. Your hands will love to carry the soft leather and it will certainly be a unique addition to your fantasy or journal collection.
This journal/sketchbook fits nicely in one hand and is perfect for recording your special notes, lyrics, poetry, sketches, hopes and dreams or anything else you desire. Signed by the artist. Book, beads, tile and other items in pictures are not included.

Mythical Beast Books are born in Abbots Hollow, where fairy tale creatures come to life. Each one is a fascinating companion to carry with you on your travels or to keep you company at your desk and when you retire to your personal library. The amusing, curious, surprising, one-of-a-kind expressions and lifelike faces are a delight to behold and collect. Interior pages leave room for you to collect your thoughts and musings.

Don't see what you want? I'll be glad to build a custom order for you! Let me know what you're thinking of, by sending an etsy convo. I'll resume accepting custom orders September 1, 2012.
