Cool, ring-shaped, mid century modern, handmade wine decanter, carafe or water jug from the 1970's. Minimalist form, modernist simplicity in taupe or sandy-colored clay, matte finished exterior and glazed interior. I replaced the cork stopper. It is intended to be used as a wine 'cooler' - soak the porous exterior in cold water, fill with your favorite white and the wine will stay cool for a long time. Great vintage condition, some typical manufacturing blips, see the photos. On the bottom, it is hand signed in the clay, Hartstone U.S.A.

9.75" high with stopper, 9" high without, 10" long, 3" wide at base, 2.5" wide at top
