In the early 1970s Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey began reproducing many of their historic posters. They were advertised as “The Only Antique Posters Authorized by The Greatest Show On Earth.” This is one of those prints.

This print titled "Gargantua the Great" was originally created in 1938, and has the print number 113 on it. It features a giant gorilla in what appears to be the African safari holding up a tribeman. The words say "Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey combine shows / The Largest Gorilla ever Exhibited / The world's most terrifying living creature / Gargantua the Great"

It is in great vintage condition with only very tiny rips on the edges and very small folds around the edges. You will not be able to notice these imperfections once it is framed and matted. The only discoloration is a minor "fading" of the color from age. It measures about 24 1/4 inches by 16 3/4 inches.

Item ships rolled in poster tube. If you buy 2 or more posters that fit into a poster tube, I can take down the price of the additional shipping to $1 per poster. International buyers can contact me for shipping prices.
