"Red Sky At Night Sailor's Delight - Red Sky At Morning Sailor Take Warning." Suggested to me by a good customer (Thanks Cindy!) I have blended these colors to imply a late evening sunset with the sun well below the horizon.

Sky blue and a super vibrant combination of purples from lavender to a very dark red-purple and on occasional splash of green. My camera sees more red in this than there is. Most of what my camera is showing as red is actually a more reddish purple or burgundy. The green is only here and there and I made sure it showed in the photos but it is not as prevalent as the blues and burgundy. I grabbed out another two ounce section and pictured it in the roll (last picture). As can be seen, some of the smaller sections may have no green noticeable. This colorway differs from The Deep only in that it's a tad lighter overall and the green is more earthy than emerald. Because of the random method of dyeing no two quantities will be exactly alike All in all this gorgeous combination grabs your attention instantly as only superwash can do. Roving is pictured in natural light and indoors under flash.

Listing is for approximately four ounces (4 oz.)

Note to nuno felters: Superwash fiber does not wet felt by itself and has to have at least some regular wool fibers felted with it to "tack it down". I love the vibrant colors of the superwash and in my nuno felting I layer a bit of regular wool on the silk, then my superwash with a very small bit of regular wool as my top layer to felt it in.
