This might be one of the first of these glass / chrome sugar bowls made. The Farber Brothers patented this concept (glass inserts with silver holders) in 1932. The bottom is stamped 1932.

The glass bowl is in perfect shape - no chips or nicks. It was produced by the Cambridge Glass Company.

The chrome lid and insert show some tarnishing/rust - see photos.
