The 1964 New York Worlds Fair was a fabulous experience with pavilions from all over the world. This hand carved and painted wooden doll in traditional costume was purchased at the Swedish Pavilion.

She has a dark green top with a green striped skirt. Her hat is painted paper and there is lace trim on the hat and her sleeves. Movable arms

5" tall
The markings on the bottom are blurry and I can't quite make them out.

Her paint is a bit chippy and her lace is yellowed. I think this adds to her vintage charm.
Very, good vintage condition.
