This bag is the result of my tinkering with creative ways to upcycle men's shirts into new and useful products. This 100% cotton bag is positively handsome in deep blue with an electric-orange strap made from another (97% cotton 3% spandex) Gap shirt. Here I've used the placket front of the shirt with buttons intact to provide the closure for the top of the bag.

This project bag is perfect for the discerning and stylish knitter, crocheter, crafter or anyone else looking to carry their bits and pieces around in modern fashion.

I want my bags to provide enjoyment and function as close to forever as I can get so I use French seams (double seams) on the side and bottom edges for extra strength. The bag is approximately 12 inches wide and 10.25 inches tall - plenty of space to hold for sock knitting or other small to medium projects.
